You could go to Sfantu Gheorghe, a small village where you can find a really nice eco-village. I'm not sure what they charge for the night, but if it's too expensive, there are many other guest houses. To spend the day, you can rent boat rides that will take you deep into the marches where you can see all the birds, cast the rod or simply relax. You could also go to Sulina, a small city. There are plenty of guest houses and hotels all over the promenade and from there, you can also rent boats that will take you either north, towards the Musura Gulf and Letea, or south, towards the Rosu lake and the maze of canals. You can get to both locations with the speed boat for about 10 Euros from Tulcea.Hope that helps :D Good luck!

There are plenty of places to see. Is there one page where you recommend places to stay?I was looking for a central place to stay, some place quiet, doesn’t have to be 5 star and expensive but nice and clean, maybe something authentic to the area, not a modern tiled nightmare of a place.I appreciate any advice! Thanks!Moche

Hi, thanks for your website, my husband and I have been thinking of driving up from Bulgaria to see the delta.
